Although the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has not officially adopted a heat standard, they have ordered increased enforcement on workplace temperatures. This is part of the “whole of government” approach to climate change.

OSHA has taken initial steps toward issuing a standard by recently initiating a Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act panel review.
